Lisa McClung is Owner and Managing Principal of Lismore Advisors, a unique global consultancy with a hands-on approach to accelerating business value and competitive capabilities for top executives and business owners. She has over twenty-five years of experience building and running successful businesses in multiple global markets as a business executive, entrepreneur, and valued advisor on boards and to C-suite leaders. As a Fortune 500 executive and entrepreneur, McClung built and ran several successful, innovative global businesses in both B2B and B2C industries, including executive leadership roles at Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, General Electric, CS First Boston, Andersen Consulting, and Mercer Management Consulting. Lisa personally built and led businesses in Russia, China, Vietnam, India, Poland, Australia, within multiple EU states and in the US. She also served as Assistant to the President of the US Russia Business Council where she helped craft the organization’s post-soviet strategy and led several joint venture and alliance projects in Russia and the CIS states.
Capitalizing on this experience, she developed Lismore’s “hands-on” approach, which is designed around a proven approach that helps business leaders rapidly assess opportunities, build competitive capabilities, and drive results. Through a proprietary global advisor network, her clients have unique access to industry, market, and operational expertise around the world that can drive organic growth, M&A, strategic alliances, new innovations, and technologies. This approach has been highly successful for both public and private businesses in transportation, manufacturing, construction, education, healthcare, technology, insurance, retail, agriculture, consumer goods, and professional services. McClung frequently lectures at leading academic institutions and business forums. She is an Advisor to the Health Care Business Women’s Association and was a 2015 Socrates Fellow at the Aspen Institute. She also contributes time to several civic and community boards. She received her bachelor’s degree from Smith College, was a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University, and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She was co-chair of the 2016 IWF World Leadership Conference and named a Socrates Fellow at the Aspen Institute.
